The total area of Lahemaa National Park is 747,84 sq km, of which 479,10 sq km of mainland and 268,74 sq km of sea.
The Lahemaa National Park is a park located in northern Estonia, 70 kilometres east from the capital Tallinn.
Lahemaa, which roughly translates as “land of bays”, adjoins the coast of the Gulf of Finland.
The national park belongs to the European Natura 2000 network as Lahemaa’s bird and wilderness area.
