The Museum tells a story about the Aberdeen’s relationship with the sea and how it has become a successful and prosperous city, the unique collections involves shipbuilding, fast sailing ships, fishing and port history, what makes this museum unique it’s the only place in the united kingdom where you can see displays on the north sea oil and gas industry.
Some of the museums biggest feature is a large scale model of an oil-platform that suspended’s in mid air, you can view this wonderful model from different floor levels, like to call it one of the wonders of Aberdeen. You can also view the stunning busy harbour from the windows inside the museum.
Best part about this award winning museum is the fact that, its free entry and is a wonderful experience into the North Sea through fantastic new exhibitions.
