Balmedie is a beach located 5 miles from Aberdeen, it’s a flat and sandy beach and sand dunes on the rear of the beach, you can find path walks going from the car park through the dunes to the beach area.

Facilities
Two public toilet blocks, the toilet located in the north car park is open all year round and has facilities for the disabled.
1700 meters of boardwalk assist visitor access through the dunes.
Picnic tables and children play equipment are situated within the park
Parking
There is a car park at the beach, its free parking however this may change in the future due to the costs of running the Country Park is around £90,000.

From Aberdeen, take the A90 North for approximately eight miles and turn right at the second turning for Balmedie.
Take the second road on the left and follow this road for one mile past the ‘mushroom farm’ on the left.
The car park for the beach is directly ahead.
