Flag of Biobío Region
The Flag of the Biobío Region features a white background with the coat of arms in the centre. The coat of arms features a black eagle in the centre with three blue leaves under it, on each side of the eagle are blue and white stripes, and above the eagle is a golden castle and a royal crown.
The black eagle symbolises strength and power, while the three leaves represent the provinces that make up the Biobío Region: Arauco, Biobío, and Concepción. The blue represents the Biobío River, the region’s most important waterway. The gold shield and castle represent the wealth and resources of the region.
