Linden
Linden is the second largest city in Guyana after Georgetown and the capital of the Upper Demerara-Berbice region.
Linden attained the status of a town in 1970 and encompasses the neighbourhoods of MacKenzie, Christiansburg, and Wismar.

The town is named Linden after the then President of Guyana, Linden Forbes Sampson Burnham.
