Flag of Coquimbo Region
The Flag of the Coquimbo Region has been officially adopted since 27th of December 2013.
The Flag is a blue flag with a white star in the lower left corner, at the top in the centre is a yellow sun and in the right green/dark green stripes.
The blue and white star symbolises the astronomical observatories; yellow and light blue represent the daytime sky and the local client; and the green stripes symbolise agricultural and pisco production.
Only five out of the sixteen regions of Chile that officially adopted regional flags, these regions include; Atacama, Conquimbo, Los Lagos, Los Ríos and Magallanes.
