Aston Hall is located in Birmingham, England, designed by way of John Thorpe and constructed between 1618 and the 1635.

Designed by John Thorpe, production began in April 1618 through Sir Thomas Holte, who eventually moved into the hall in 1631. It turned into finished in April 1635.

The house became critically damaged after an attack with the aid of Parliamentary troops in 1643.

In 1864 the residence was sold to Birmingham Corporation, which then became the first historic country house to pass into municipal ownership, However a it’s nw a community Museum, managed by Birmingham Museums Trust, which was opened to the public 2009, after major renovation was done.

Aston hall is a magnificent seventeenth century pink-brick mansion located in a picturesque public park at the north side of Birmingham.

Now a grade I listed building, the hall is restored to its former Jacobean splendor

Aston Hall and the Birmingham Seasonal Markets teamed up to bring you Birmingham Festival at Aston Hall 2017

What to expect: Pop-up restaurants, cocktails and craft beer, food traders serving up darn tasty grub, artists, designers and independent retailers and live music.

Tickets cost just £8 (early bird is £5) and can be purchased here – children under 12 go free, no ticket required

In the 1640s the country was at war with itself, King against Parliament, and in 1643 the tides of war brought battle to Aston Hall. See soldiers arrive to defend the Hall, and experience the story of the siege.

Aston Hall is open from 11am-4pm with last entrance to the Hall at 3.30pm.
