Flag of Valparaíso Region
The Flag of Valparaíso Region features a blue background with the coat of arms of the Valparaíso Region in the centre.
The coat of arms shield is divided into two quarters; The left quarter shows a ship, representing the region’s maritime history. The right quarter shows a condor, a bird of prey that is native to the Andes Mountains. Around the inside shield are five stars in blue and above is a golden crown.
Below the shield is the word “REGIÓN VALPARAÍSO” written in Gold.
