Museum De Waag, Used to be known as Historical Museum Deventer, located in the monumental building de Waag at the Brink in the center of Deventer.
Historic collections such as paintings, prints, drawings, coins and treasures can be found in the museum, as well as pieces of construction, household goods and objects from the industry.
The exhibitions let you go through time and explore the rich history, there are five historical chapters, from the 600, when Deventer was first discovered to when the Vikings first arrived and the prosperity of the Hanseatic city to the present.
Association of Waag wants to acquire important objects for the history of Deventer, The Association also supports valuable purchases in order to enrich the core collection.
